Hi Mark. I was forwarded your blog and website with the pictures from Mary Pettinato. I enjoyed viewing them.
My dad has been on such a high from the Honor Flight last week. Thank you for being such a wonderful companion for him. He could not have been paired up with a nicer man. My father enjoyed your company as much as the entire day itself. He usually is a man of few words, but he talked all the way home.
He will never forget you and the day in D.C.
I hope you can stay in touch with him. His buddies are all gone which is very sad. This trip has given him a real boost.
Perhaps you can visit sometime in Huntley, I know he would enjoy that anytime.
God bless you and your family. Thanks for giving of yourself and your time!

What an uplifting read. I have never heard of this organization, but what a worthy cause. Loved the photos.

Mark

Thank you for sharing this day of memories with us. I am glad you saw this opportunity and volunteered to be a part of it.

I had seen the WW2 memorial -- but it means even more now due to your story.....their story, their lives, their sacrifice, their actions.

Thank you, Mark,
Jennifer

I have been a lone voice in the world of public education leadership for far too long. It is refreshing to find someone who shares not only the same passion for technology but insights on courage and vision.

I'm uncertain if public education can bare the pressure of honest conversations but we must proceed none the less.

Keep up the fight!
